Toastmasters club mission: “We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

2. MEMBERSHIP

Joining Toastmasters is easy. When you become a member, you’ll have the support of your club, district and the global organization as you work toward your goals.  Once you have visited the club at least once, and you want to join, you will contact the vice president membership who will guide you through the registration process. After admission, you will receive a welcome email from Toastmasters International with starter instructions. From there, you will ask the vice president education for a mentor, who will provide with support on the journey to become a competent communicator.  Members pay international dues $33.4 USD every six months (As our club is not yet in any Toastmasters districts), for clubs which are in Toastmasters districts, members pay $45 instead of $33.4. All new members also pay a one-time fee of $20 USD.

3. EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Education is an important part of every Toastmaster’s journey, and it is a critical aspect of all club meetings around the world. Develop and practice communication and leadership skills in a safe, supportive environment of your club, working through projects and assignments that enable you to build real–world skills in a variety of disciplines. Learn at your own pace in a proven curriculum that was built on four guiding principles that have been in place since Toastmasters was founded in 1924:

Experiential learning – By giving speeches and fulfilling leadership roles, you practice and improve.

Peer feedback – Grow and improve through honest and supportive peer evaluation.

Mentoring – Experienced mentors encourage, guide and support you in your goals and help you to achieve more than you thought possible.

Self-paced program – Develop skills at your own pace and comfort level.

Toastmasters will give you the skills and confidence you need to express yourself effectively in any situation.
